The Marshlink Line  Action Group is a voluntary organisation representing the interests of all passengers using the Ashford to Hastings ‘Marshlink’ train service.  We campaign for improvements to this vital community link and for the strategic development of the whole local rail network.

PUBLIC MEETING ABOUT 9 WEEK CLOSURE


A Public meeting was held on Friday 30th September at the Community Centre in Rye. Representatives from Network Rail and Southern explained to a packed hall the reason for the closure. The audience included many passengers who rely on this service to get to work every day, representatives of local schools and colleges that equally depend on the line andthe local MP Amber Rudd.
